Multiply Your Powerball Winnings Up To $1 Million!
For just $1 more, you have a chance to multiply all Powerball prizes, except the jackpot, by 2 to 5 times. Even the $200,000 prize will multiply. On draw nights, a Power Play multiplier (2, 3, 4, or 5) is drawn. The probability that the prize multiplier will be 2 is 25%, 3 is 25%, 4 is 25% and 5 is 25%. If your Powerball ticket includes Power Play, your prize of $200,000 or less is multiplied by the Power Play number and you take home a bigger prize. Example: If you win $100 on Powerball and purchased Power Play, and the Power Play multiplier number is 5, your prize is $500! ($100 x 5 = $500).

How The Power Play Multiplier Number Is Chosen
A ball is dropped into the Power Play wheel. There are 16 numbered slots: four 5's, four 4's, four 3's, and four 2's. As the wheel is spinning the ball falls to the bottom of the wheel and lands in one of the designated numbered slots. This numbered slot is the Power Play multiplier for that night's draw.
