How to play: Select five numbers 1 through 56 and one number 1 through 46 - the Mega Ball®.
Cost per play: $1
Jackpot: Starts at $12 million and grows until a lucky player(s) wins.
Overall Odds: 1:39.89
Drawing days: Tuesday and Friday nights.
Add Megaplier® to win up to $1 million:
Play the Megaplier feature for an extra $1.00 per play and increase your non-jackpot prize winnings by 2, 3, or 4 times. Mark the MEGAPLIER BOX on the play slip to select this feature for all plays. Any non-jackpot prize you win on a Mega Millions play will be multiplied by the Megaplier number drawn if you have purchased the Megaplier feature.
How the Megaplier® Number is Chosen:
The Megaplier multiplier number is drawn using a random number generator. Twenty-one numbers are inserted into a computerized system, which is otherwise referred to as a random number generator (RNG). The 21 numbers are dispersed as follows: twelve 4's, seven 3's, and two 2's. The random number generator selects the Megaplier number for each Mega Millions draw.

Overall odds are 1 in 39.89. The prize pool is estimated to be 50% of Mega Millions sales, but may be higher or lower based upon
the number of
winners at each
guaranteed prize level, as well as the funding required to meet the advertised jackpot. * The jackpot
prize
is
pari-mutuel and will
be divided
equally by the number
of jackpot prize winners. ** For any drawing, if prize liability exceeds
the
lesser of 300% of Mega Millions sales
or
50% of draw sales plus $50 million, then these
prizes become pari-mutuel rather than
guaranteed prize basis. For more information,
